Beta Tester

In 2010, 2B Consulting was selected by IBM to be one of the few global Business Partners to take part in beta-testing the IBM Cognos 10 BI solution. There are two aspects to this status as a Beta Tester:

- It includes the "debugging" stage by Business Partners (identifying errors in order to launch an optimum version of the solution)

- But this phase also makes it possible to "take the pulse" of the sector to define exactly the right moment to launch the solution (if Business Partners are prepared at a commercial and consulting level, if the version is sufficiently developed, etc.)

This stage is crucial in establishing a new product or a new version of a solution already available.

Support Provider

This is a maintenance service sold independently or combined with licenses. 2B Consulting’s Hotline and Helpline are now combined with a Forum and a Knowledge Base, only available to clients with a maintenance contract.

IBM Cognos Innovation Center

The IBM Cognos Innovation Center for Performance Management is primarily a forum for discussion between IT and financial specialists and leading analysts such as Robert Kaplan, David Axson and Jeremy Hope.

Objectives: To promote performance management best practice and to encourage everyone to share their experiences.

IBM Cognos Performance Blueprints simplify and rationalize the creation of plans by providing standards, profiles as well as easy-to-use models and methods. Blueprints will help you to automate your management processes and extend planning beyond the financial sphere to adopt a comprehensive but open performance management system.
